Sodalite Syenite, sometimes shortened to syenite, is an igneous rock similar to feldspar with much lower silica content. This particular variety of syenite also contains large sodalite inclusions is a distinctive rock that has gained attention for its remarkable property of fluorescing under ultraviolet (UV) light, emitting an otherworldly glow.

This stone is a coarse-grained intrusive igneous rock of the same general composition as granite but with the quartz either absent or present in relatively small amounts.
